Business Travel Attire

"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page."  ~ St. Augustine

I am often asked what one should wear when traveling for business.  There is more than 1 answer to that question.  It depends...

If you have a corporate job you should be in business casual at a minimum including international flights.  You never know who you will run into while traveling.  A pair of pants (instead of jeans) and a casual chic top can be comfortable when traveling.  You will feel better because you are prepared for an impromptu business meeting.

On the go…

On the go…

If you have a job where business casual is excepted at work and you normally travel in jeans, put on a comfortable blazer and a nice pair of ballet flats to take your jeans up a notch.  If the temperature is starting to drop, a nice scarf will be a great accessory and help keep you warm.

Don't worry.  If you think you still need sweatpants to be comfortable pack them in your carry-on.  You can always change on the flight.  But don't forget! Change back into your business casual outfit or chic jeans (with a blazer) before you land!

Stores, such as White House Black Market and Chico's have travel collections that make business travel stylish and comfortable!

Remember, keep your skin hydrated.  One of my best kept secrets is Mac's Prep + Prime Fix+.  It's a lightweight, water mist that hydrates your face while leaving you feeling refreshed when you land.
